For Ron Richtsmeier
Didn't really have much info following Ron Cowden. Thought Dick Smith took the company. Did understand you moved across the field into PhuBai.Will you and Bob Heisterman make the reunion ? If I can get my bladder cancer under control, hope to be there. We all owe Ray a big cheer for the web site. Quite an accomplishment.
Gene Grayson Hawk 6 nr 2 Posted by Gene Grayson on July 2, 2008 @ 9:59pm
Former Hawk 6 - a looooooong time ago, April - October 1970. I took over after Ron Cowden was relieved. What a great bunch of soldiers were the Hawks. I still have my change of command photo hanging in my den. I hope to make the reunion.

Ron Freitas, I believe he was with the Hawks though 1970&71,serving as a doorgunner." Rappin Ron " was porud of his unit and to the day he died still had his HAWKS engraved Zippo.May he Rest in Peace. God Bless All You, and again Thank-You for your services and efforts.Peace be with you. Posted by Vic Salminen on April 18, 2008 @ 9:54pm
