ROTORWASH NEWS

Hi everyone, Rotorwash now has a new home. It still has a few bugs I'm working on but most of the site is up and running. Please bear with me as I get the bugs worked out. The videos should be working and as for the forum, for now I have decided to do away with it. It didn't see much use and was collecting a lot of spammers. So unless I get a lot of request to bring it back I am going to let it go for now.

I have also added a page along with a video I made dedicated to my father who we lost on November 15th, 2005.

UH-1H  for download !

It is complete with a Virtual Cockpit with working gauges and many other small add-ons I have added. This is my first attempt at any type of aircraft design so don't expect the moon. A major thanks goes to Lynn Rogers for his FSDS files and countless hours of help! With out Lynn, I wouldn't have a helicopter to release. Here is a pic of the H model. Click on it to get to the DL page.

A series of pages dedicated to

These pages have pictures and info I have received on this unit who served with honor and distinction in Vietnam and Iraq.

Low Flight
Dedicated to all Helicopter Pilots

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And hovered out of ground effect on semi-rigid blades.
Earthward I’ve auto’ed and met the rising brush of non-paved terrain,
And done a thousand things you would never care to
skidded and dropped and flared low in the heat soaked roar.
Confined there, I’ve chased the earthbound traffic
and lost the race to insignificant headwinds;
Forward and up a little in ground effect
I’ve topped the General’s hedge with drooping turns
where never Skyhawk or even Phantom flew.
Shaking and pulling collective, I’ve lumbered
the low untrespassed halls of victor airways,
Put out my hand and touched a tree.

Just a note to all Rotorwash visitors. I have had numerous people ask in the past if there is any way they can help with the payment of the site. In thinking this over, I have decided to add a donation button to the bottom of the main page for those who wish to make a donation to Rotorwash.net. It is not required or requested. Simply for those who have asked to help for the cost and upkeep of the site. It is being handled through Paypal. This is an online payment center and is very safe and secure. It is the number one payment method used on Ebay.  I have personally used it probably over a 100 times with no problems or security problems. Just click the button below and it will take you to the Paypal site and simply follow the instructions. Feel free to email me with questions.

Thanks, Marty
